What’s the most rewarding thing about being an accountant?

The most rewarding experiences for me is that moment I have achieved the level of trust from my client to become their trusted business advisor. It is when they call me and begin asking questions outside of the normal compliance work which is where value can be added. When a client tells me the strategic plan we discussed was successfully implemented and they are able to see the results and benefits of it.
